2024 Kodokan Summer Course Success

After a 4-year hiatus from this course, New Zealand had two participants this year attending the Kodokan Summer Kata Course, held at the spiritual home of Judo the Kodokan Judo Institute, Tokyo, Japan.

Dr Alan Green (DBJ AK) and Neisha Brooking (TAU WB) attended the 8-day course, and were successful in their demonstration.

As a result Alan officially attained his Kodokan yon-dan, and Neisha was presented with the top diploma, jukutatsu-sho for her kata.
