2025 OJU Kodokan Kata Seminar Report
The recent OJU Kodokan Kata Seminar held in Christchurch provided a comprehensive and enriching experience
for all participants, bringing together judoka from across the region for an in-depth study of
Kodokan kata.
The seminar was led by esteemed Kodokan experts Mr. Sameshima
Motonari, 8th Dan, and Mr. Makishi Yoshiharu, 8th Dan, whose knowledge and guidance
created a high-level learning environment grounded in both tradition and practical
understanding.
