Judo has been confirmed as one of the sports to be included in a greatly reduced program for the 2026 Commonwealth Games to be held in Glasgow.
Only 10 sports will be competing at the event, and it provides another opportunity for our athletes to compete at this level.
However, it also leaves only a short lead into meeting the selection criteria that will be set by the NZOC.
Glasgow hosted a successful Commonwealth Games in 2014, where NZL Judoka took 5 medals to become NZ's second best performing sport at the event.
