Alan Hoverd Award for Excellence in Kata
Ralph Rogge (TAW WN), senior coach at the Tawa Judo club, was presented with the "Wellington Judo Association Inc. Alan Hoverd Trophy for Excellence in Kata" by Area Director Carlton Ruffell and Alan Hoverd.
This is a new annual award, introduced by Wellington Area last year. It will be presented annually at their Closed Competition to a local club registered Kata player who meets the requirements of this new initiative.
