JNZ Judoka Of The Year 2022
The JNZ Board is pleased to announce that the 2022 Judoka of the Year has been decided and this year will awarded to Moira Koster (CJA CA).
Moira has has an outstanding year representing New Zealand on the International judo scene with the following results:
* Two Continental Open Gold medals - Tunis & Algiers
* Two Continental Open Bronze medals - Warsaw & Prague
* Bronze medal - Pan American/Oceania Champs
* World Champs - top 16 placing
* Bronze medal - Perth Oceania Open
* Bronze medal Winterthur European Cup
* Bronze medal - Commonwealth Games
Moira now has now attained an IJF World ranking of 31 which has qualified her to attend the World Masters in Jerusalem, Israel where she will compete on the 22nd of December. We wish her well with this event.
In addition Moira will receive $1000 from Judo New Zealand that goes with this award.
